Who we are

As we’ve been spreading the word about TriPride, the reception and support has been incredible. Thank you! Folks are super excited, and so are we!

Several people have asked about our affiliation with the Pride Community Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. Although we are supportive of the center’s ambitions, we are not affiliated with it or other non-profit organizations. We have reached out to organizations such as PFLAG and TCATS, have been contacting regional colleges and universities, and have met with event planners from the local Chambers of Commerce.

TriPride is a new, independent non-profit devoted to celebrating the history of diversity for the LGBTQ community at an annual event with our partners and allies in the Tri-Cities, Tennessee region. We are confident that providing a safe and encouraging environment for people to gather and celebrate their differences will have a positive impact on the surrounding community.
