Citi Becomes Parade Sponsor

TRI-CITIES, Tenn.  ̶  TriPrideTN, Inc. is excited to announce that Citi Retail Services of Gray, TN will be the main parade sponsor for the 2018 TriPrideTN Parade and Festival.

Citi made the announcement on Friday, June 1 by presenting a sponsorship donation check to TriPrideTN, Inc. The check presentation was made during Citi’s Pride Month celebration at their Gray, Tennessee.

This money and other fundraising will be used to organize and plan a free community pride parade and festival for the Tri-Cities on September 15, 2018 that will be open to everyone. The parade will begin at noon at the intersection of Roan and Commerce Streets in downtown Johnson City and will end at Founder’s Park, where the festival will be held.

Chris Dagenhart, Board Member of TriPrideTN, Inc., is excited that business sponsors across the Tri-Cities region are stepping up to stand for inclusion. “TriPride is finding a growing commitment in the business community of the Tri-Cities that wants to build a more inclusive community — which is good for people and good for business.”

Across the Tri-Cities, businesses large and small are getting involved to help make TriPrideTN a success by contributing sponsorship money or by making an in-kind donation. “We are fortunate to have a prominent employer such as Citi sponsoring this event,” Dagenhart said.

TriPrideTN, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charity formed in 2017 whose purpose is to organize and present a free community Pride festival and parade.
